Time really flies; we have come to the end of yet another exciting year. It has been a year of learning and growing at St. Xavier’s. The highlight of this year was the Junior Concert where almost all the students of junior section shared the stage. It was the dedicated labour of primary staff which made this a grand success in a very short time and with limited resources. After a gap of some years the XAVERIAN our school magazine resurfaced which was appreciated by one and all. We have taken up a huge project in the form of New School building. It is a massive project which can come to its realisation through the generous hands of parents and well wishers. The purpose of the new building is not to make our school look magnificent but to equip our school with well furnished library, spacious lab and class rooms. As the present building has withstood rain and the Sun for 63 years, we need to lessen the load to this building. With God’s grace and the support of all concerned, our new building will be a reality very soon.
My best wishes to the students of Class X and XII who will be writing ICSE and ISC in 2015. This is an important exam for your life so study well. Don’t waste your time, be sincere to yourself. The fruit of hard labour will always be sweet. This winter break should provide others a time to relax and enjoy. May this time of rest and relaxation be a perfect opportunity for you to rededicate yourself with motivation and vitality in the new academic session 2015. My sincere thanks to all the parents with whose cooperation and support the school is sailing through even in the rough weather. We are also thankful to the Govt. of Sikkim for developing the infrastructure of our school ground. This surely will be another achievement in the history of our school. The dedicated service of our teaching and non teaching staff needs applause and appreciation. Finally I wish you all A VERY HAPPY CHRISTMAS and A BRIGHT NEW YEAR 2015.
